Welcome! This is a safe place… to heal, go deep, reconnect with your loved ones, learn practical relationship skills, & grow into the person you are meant to be.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker, certified marriage and family therapist, and a certified addictions counselor. I use research-based, creative, and holistic strategies to help my clients create deeper connections with their loved ones and a greater sense of peace and empowerment.

I am also an adjunct faculty member at University of Denver (GSSW) and Denver Family Institute. I find it gratifying to help therapists in training discover their unique strengths and create a supportive community in which they can most effectively learn, in addition to staying abreast of cutting edge research, skills, and practices related to social justice and best practices in the marriage and family therapy, social work, and addiction and recovery fields.

What makes my therapy practice different:

In my office, you won’t just be sitting on the couch and talking to me. You’ll be engaged in a range of therapeutic techniques, including PACT couples therapy, narrative therapy, and art therapy. You might use a sand tray to create a visual representation of your emotions, re-enact your family dynamics (through psychodrama), or practice effectively communicating with your loved ones as I provide coaching and support. I tailor my approach to each individual, couple, or family, so you’ll receive the blend of therapeutic techniques you need the most.

LANA HELPED ME FEEL HEARD.

“Lana is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who helped me feel heard, understand how my past has affected me, and identified patterns in my life. What brought me into therapy was feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and irritable, which led to me drinking too much and emotional eating. After working with Lana, I’m headed in the right direction and more mindful of my eating and drinking patterns.”

WE HAD CONVERSATIONS WE NEVER WOULD HAVE HAD ON OUR OWN.

“The exercises we did in sessions spurred conversations we never would have had on our own. Lana helped us realize we can be partners for life. We were not sure we were going to make it as a couple, yet Lana has been able to get us to a place of open communication.”

OUR RELATIONSHIP IS MORE SOLID THAN EVER.

“Therapy has a lot of stigma, but especially relationship counseling. When I talked about going to Lana, sometimes the response I received was, “Oh no! What’s wrong? Are you breaking up?” And it was quite the opposite — we wanted to make sure we continued to treat each other with love. I am a better person and our relationship is more solid than ever. It was a priceless experience and everyone should do it. ”
