Welcome! This is a safe place… to heal, go deep, reconnect with your loved ones, learn practical relationship skills, & grow into the person you are meant to be.
You have the power to change~ your life, relationships, and even future generations! Change requires being open (with your mind & heart), willing to learn evidenced-based relationship knowledge and skills, and be guided by a relationship specialist like myself, a certified emotionally focused therapist.
While we’re able to navigate and solve many challenges in life, we all reach different crossroads or stuck places that require specialized help. Or sometimes seeking guidance from an expert, like a trainer a gym, allows you to simply reach your goals faster! That’s a smart way to value your time.
In sessions with me, you will unlearn misinformation and coping behavior that unintentionally harms our most important relationships and perpetuates distress and disconnection. You will also learn evidenced-based relationship skills that will help you work through conflict, deepen connection, and allow you to more effectively give and receive the LOVE you deserve.
My mission is to empower you to rediscover your personal gifts, improve your most important relationships, boldly work through your blocks, & have a safe space to be fully you!

Create an intimate relationship that is a legacy you wish to pass down to future generations
“Every so often I meet couples who get it- Marriage is not the end of their romance. It’s the beginning. They know that they have years in which to deepen their connection, to experiment, to regress, and even fail. They see their relationship as something alive and ongoing, not a fate de complete. It’s a story they are writing together- one with many chapters and neither partner knows how it will end. There’s always a place they haven’t gone yet- always something about the other still to be discovered.”
– Esther Perel
Are you or someone you know shocked to find yourself on the brink of divorce?
I can help. I now offer Discernment Counseling.
Most couples who make the long-term commitment of marriage or to be each other’s life partners believe in the beauty of their intimate relationship and that they have what it takes to thrive. The beginning of relationships are filled with bliss, ease and optimism.
The Bad News…
And yet, 1 in 4 marital partners think about divorce on any given day and the statistics of divorce in America continue to be around 50%.
Although personal growth has been on the rise for decades and even couples workshops are becoming more normalized, few people (even therapists!) know the skills required for couples, on the brink, who want to revive their relationship and fewer know how to help these couples at this crossroad make one the most important decisions in their life!!!
Because I care deeply about my clients and their families (& future generations) and personally know the REAL challenges and rewards of marriage, I completed the Discernment Counseling training and am thrilled to offer this service.
The Good News…
There’s HOPE for couples who participate in discernment counseling ~
53% choose Path 3 (6 months of Couples Therapy starting off with a deeper understanding of their relationship and clear personal agendas for change – with divorce off the table)
16% choose Path 1 (table a decision for Path 2 or 3)
= 69%
31% choose Path 2 (separation or divorce) and due to their new learning about themselves and their relationship and significant conversations in Discernment Counseling, they are often able to have healthier communication and a smoother (more amicable) divorce.
As a Discernment Counselor:
I am a support for BOTH partners as you work through this extremely challenging time. You will each be treated with compassion and guided through this evidence-based structured approach.
I will respect your reasons for divorce while trying to open up the possibility of restoring the marriage to health. I do not get a vote for the future of your relationship!
I will also emphasize the importance of each of you seeing your own contributions to the problems and the possible solutions. This will be useful in future relationships even if this one ends.
For Couples on the Brink:
You deserve to have the peace of mind knowing you have done everything possible!
To gain clarity and confidence about a direction for your relationship, which is one of the most important decisions of your life.
You will also learn extremely valuable lessons about your relationship dynamics that you can apply now to possibly restore or revamp your long-term relationship or implement in a future relationship.
Because we take with us our strengths, gifts, areas of needed growth and enduring vulnerabilities to ALL of our relationships.
